In a new library, UNEP DTU Partnership is hosting the bulk of global literature on Energy Service Companies.

As part of its mandate, the Global ESCO Network has now gathered the bulk of authoritative literature on Energy Service Companies and made it available in one place, not only for partners of the Global ESCO Network to use, but for all with an interest in ESCOs. The library is organized in 10 categories for ease of reference.

Through dialogues with the global network of ESCO partners it has become clear that there is a demand for exchange of information across borders and continents. With the launch of the library, the Global ESCO Network hopes to establish itself as an agent for such information exchange and a central repository of documentation of ESCOs, their business models, markets and clients and those regulatory and legislative environments that they operate in, and sometimes struggle with.

For instance, a separate section is devoted to the (few) model contracts in existence for public sector entities engaging ESCOs for energy efficiency services.

Although there has been a big effort to capture all relevant material, There are sure to be more out there.

Hence, please alert the Global ESCO Network to any publication that you are aware of, your own or ohers, which are not included.
