If you arrive by train, you can take S-train line A, B, C, E, H and walk from Nordhavn Station (max 10 min). Using public transportation, the approximate travel time from Copenhagen Central Station is 25 minutes while the travel time from Copenhagen Airport is around 45 minutes. If you arrive by car, underground public parking is available (8am–5pm at 24 DKK/hr – 5pm–8am at 12 DKK/hr).

For security reasons, only persons who have signed up for the tour will be given access to the building, and all guests must bring a picture ID (s passport or s driver’s licence) and go through a security check. If you have not already done so via Eventbrite, please send a list of the names of all the participants attending at least 5 days before the visit (fill out the template that you receive with the confirmation e-mail).

In order to access the building, you will need to go through a security check similar to that at an airport. Therefore, we advise you to show up early, bring a picture ID, and leave any dangerous goods at home. You are allowed to bring water bottles.

The entire tour (including security check) takes approx. 1 hour.

Your children must be registered and any strollers will need to go through the security check, but children of all ages are welcome to UN City.

For security reasons, we cannot offer our visitors to buy or bring food to eat in UN City.

The building is accessible and it is possible to enter the building in a wheelchair. It is also possible to take part in our guided tours in a wheelchair.

UN City has a gift shop, which is open from Monday to Friday between 12.00–14.00. It is possible to open the shop outside office hours for guests attending the Friday Guided Tour.

Friday Guided Tours

Every Friday at 14:00, we offer free public guided tours in UN City to anyone interested in learning about the United Nations.

Our guided tours will introduce you to the work of the UN, the 10 resident UN agencies working in UN City, the importance of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, and the sustainable features of the building.

The tours are held in and last approx. 45 minutes. If you would like to experience a guided tour in UN City, please reserve a ticket via Eventbrite below.

PLEASE NOTE:

Each ticket is for one participant; booking one ticket does not mean you have booked one tour for an entire group of people. If you would like to book tickets for multiple persons, please reserve multiple tickets separately and include everyone’s full names.

Please do not book tickets for someone else under your name. Full names, as per ID, are necessary due to security clearance upon entry to UN City. Your registration is not valid until you have received a confirmation e-mail.
