OPENING EVENT: PORTRAITS OF THE PEOPLE DRIVING UKRAINE’S RECOVERY by MIKKEL HØRLYCK

You are cordially invited to the opening of the photo exhibition “Ukraine: The Tip of the Spear” by Danish war photographer Mikkel Hørlyck, organised by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The exhibition features portraits and tells the stories of the people driving Ukraine’s recovery despite the ongoing war. Scientists, veterans, energy workers, deminers, doctors, entrepreneurs and local officials share powerful stories of resilience, courage and hope.

Through Hørlyck’s visual storytelling, the exhibition also highlights the support provided by Denmark, Norway and Sweden, in partnership with UNDP, to restore essential services, rebuild livelihoods and strengthen local institutions. Together, these stories show how local courage and international solidarity are turning resilience into recovery.
